Ayurveda Pura Academy introduces New Courses for 2011

The Ayurveda Pura Academy is pleased to announce that they will be offering a range of new and exciting courses in 2011, including more training dates for their exsiting diploma courses and one day workshops.

“The new courses on offer teach the key principles and techniques in Ayurveda that are important when diagnosing and treating clients,” says Dr Deepa Apte, Clinical Director Head of Training at Ayurveda Pura. “We have designed them in such a way that all students will come away feeling more confident in their diagnostic techniques which will help towards more effective Ayurvedic treatments.”

The New Courses on offer are:

Ayurvedic Hot Stone Massage

A 3 day course which will teach you how to select Ayurvedic oils to suit a client's body constitution or Dosha for a hot stone massage routine.  Introducing Marma Points as well as looking how to use hot stones over the various Chakras in relation to the Doshas in the body

First Course: 6-8^th May 2011

Marma Therapy

Marma therapy forms an important part in Ayurvedic treatments. Through Marma therapy one can balance the Doshas, organs, systems, emotions and mind. Through this 2 day course, you will learn to integrate Marma therapy in your own practices.

First Course: 15^th & 16^th July 2011

Basic & Advanced Pulse Diagnosis

Diagnosis is the pillar and strength of all treatments given. An accurate diagnosis helps towards an effective treatment. Ayurveda Pura Academy is offering a 2 day Basic Pulse Diagnosis Course and a 3 day Advanced Diagnosis Course.

Advanced Pulse Diagnosis Course: 23 – 25 September 2011
